Health Guarantee for Our Miniature Pinscher Puppies
All Miniature Pinscher puppies purchased come with a health guarantee. Within 10 days of bringing your new puppy home, you must take them to a licensed veterinarian for an examination. If the veterinarian determines, within this 10-day period, that your puppy is clinically ill or has died from an injury or illness likely contracted before the date of sale and delivery, you can contact us for assistance.
Health Assurance
Our Miniature Pinscher puppies are guaranteed to be in good health and free of any signs of infection or contagious diseases at the time of adoption. We take pride in our relationship with you, which doesn’t end once you bring your puppy home. As a family of breeders, experienced Miniature Pinscher counselors, and passionate owners, we strive to ensure that our puppies remain healthy. While we cannot promise that your puppy will never face health issues, we commit to doing our utmost to ensure your new family member is a healthy one.
Replacement Policy
While we recognize that no puppy can truly be replaced, we understand that the pain of loss can sometimes be eased by the presence of another furry friend. In the unlikely event of your Miniature Pinscher puppy’s death within one year of birth due to genetic issues or congenital disorders, we will replace your puppy with another of equivalent value at no cost to you. A licensed veterinarian must certify the cause of death.
What We Need From You
We love knowing that we have helped bring a healthy, happy Miniature Pinscher puppy into your home. To help keep your puppy healthy, we ask for your cooperation: Please send us a copy of the veterinarian examination (medical record) within four business days of receiving your puppy. The examination must be performed by a licensed vet. Your Miniature Pinscher will come with up-to-date, age-appropriate vaccinations, so do not vaccinate them within the first ten days of receiving them. While we ensure your puppy is de-wormed and vaccinated before departure, we encourage you to continue proper de-worming and regular health exams up to 16 weeks of age or as recommended by your vet.
Exceptions to Our Guarantee
Please note that we cannot guarantee the temperament, conformation, size, weight, color, markings, or breeding ability of your Miniature Pinscher puppy. Replacements will not be issued for breeds prone to hip dysplasia if they are overweight. Failure to provide timely vaccinations or regular veterinary care will void this guarantee. This guarantee does not cover costs related to spaying or neutering, including cases of undescended testes.
Health Evaluation Process
Before your puppy comes home, they undergo an extensive health check performed by our veterinarian. This health check includes completing a Veterinary Health Report, created to evaluate your puppy’s cardiovascular, skin, coat, eyes, mouth, teeth, gums, musculoskeletal, respiratory, ears, urogenital, and gastrointestinal health.
We require that this report is completed close to your puppy’s arrival date to ensure timely and accurate health information. The report is then reviewed internally for any noted issues or concerns by our veterinarian. Additionally, you must have your Miniature Pinscher examined by a licensed veterinarian within four days of bringing your puppy home.
